Twilight's Enchanted War

War is an inevitability, especially between two superpowers. But what if those superpowers are two different species; Human and Elves have long lived a tense history, buying to push their ideologies towards the not as powerful, or civilized as both superpowers would say. Who would have though or could have seen a stable cold war go hot? How will this war come to end?
