Jack Sparrow, A young teen living in the small city of Forks in the year 2005 finds himself waking up one day with a blue holographic panel in front of his face.

The system asks him to choose his own stats which it calls S.P.E.C.I.A.L Stats.

It cautions the young man that his choice is irreversible but he doesn't give it much mind and rashly puts his stats points in.

Follow the journey of Jack Sparrow as he experiences a whole new world and the outcome of his own rash decisions.

MC pairing isn't going to be told at the beginning so please don't ask for it.

This will not be a harem.

The system is a mix of Fallout New Vegas but it's also original so don't expect everything on there to be here as well.

An interesting and enjoyable combination of tropes here.
Starting spoilers:
The MC is an ordinary solitary teenage guy who gets a “gamer system” unlock out of the blue. Initially this enables him to adjust his stats and he gets an observation skill at level 1. This could have just been a gamer doing slice of life stuff but then the second shoe drops.
He is in Ms Swann’s home town and he goes to the same school as the Cullen shiny vampire “kids”, but just hasn’t really noticed - until now. So the vampires notice him suddenly noticing them and he is given an offer he can’t refuse. Vampiredom! Bella is still human at this stage but by day two of the book the MC has been transformed.
His stats help him get through this, and his system begins to evolve/ update. The intro arc begins to show ways in which he can get more skills and talents etc. So it’s a really interesting take - with lots of potential.
Spoilers end:
Style is first person throughout, well written and engaging. More information is revealed as the story progresses. Sometimes by in story chat or standard methods, sometimes by the system and quest system, but there are no info-dumps.
Grammar is good and doesn’t break immersion.
I like the story so far, I think we are just starting arc two now. MC is a vampire and has left his home town - so the world awaits. Always a great time in any good story, I am looking forward to his choices and what pops up next.
The characters are interesting. MC is a young male - so has that approach to life that sometimes seems a bit immature but he usually figures matters out fairly quickly. He is no one’s fool and has quickly realised the strategic situation and how he can use his skills to get stronger. So an interesting character.
So far the other characters aren’t fleshed out much. There is a closer contact with Emmet - as closest thing to a friend to the MC. The others are mentioned but not as much interaction so far, and given the story seems to be pulling him away it’s not c
