Ned Locke wakes up in another universe and latches onto the first speaking creature he sees. Beast 273, fresh from a planet where all thoughts are public, uses Ned as an anchor in this hostile world.

Neither of them are sanely handling their new home, but withPACESimposing its will on the universe, they're not alone.

What toexpect:A system whose existence is justifiable within the setting. Asymmetric fight scenes, stacked against the heroes. Understanding is the primary focus of progression. The system is implementedsimultaneously- no old monsters, no group with centuries of advantage to be compensated for by the plot.
