A one-shot of an edited draft from December 2015 that supposedly start something but didn't go anywhere due to personal reasons. Thought I post this here as a short story to start off and see how far I go since then.

A country in disarray nationwide. Job loss, riots, and crime spread throughout. In the midst of it all, a rather odd family trying to survive in the world. A human, a robot butler, and a horse with nothing else have their backs turned into a corner and with no way out. Or is there?

    This really doesn't feel like a completed story, it reads like it would be the introduction to an isekai. Given its short length the setting is told to us through a bit of strange dialogue at the bank. Nothing is really experienced, and the characters are dangled without chance for development. It is not bad, but this feels like it was an introduction and not a short story.
