The Abyssal Tower. An ever expanding dungeon where those chosen by the gods are sent to undergo tests to earn their patron's favor. Here they are promised riches, skills, and legendary artifacts. Six divines, six factions, each that compete with warriors from all across the realm. Yet what happens when an unknown seventh god comes out of retirement?

Meet Adam Glow, a down on his luck and prosecuted necromancer with dreams of a utopia. After a series of unfortunate events, Adam finds himself and his cat, Schrödinger, cornered by the dastardly forces of the Empire.

With his mana depleted, no escape route and being relentlessly hounded by the forces of inquisition, Adam makes a last ditched attempt to save himself and Schrodinger by activating a mysterious relic, resulting in an adventure of cataclysmic proportions.

Join Adam as he navigates an alien land, raises an army of the damned, and undergoes trials in search of his beloved feline friend, all while contending with being regressed into a cat-like humanoid and dealing with the shenanigans of an aging god hellbent on its own final rest.

I'm absolutely in love with this story! The author's writing is unique and refreshing, and it's easy to fall in love with the main character and empathize with his journey. I love cat boys! It's nice to see an alternative to the repetitive, cat girl that is featured in many light novels. Plus, there is no inherent sexualization and it's imbedded with animated fight scenes. Not to mention, the author's writing is engaging and is reminiscent of an RPG, which is very welcome as it brings back so much nostalgia. And, it's super funny! I prefer works that can find humor in itself. It's definitely different from their other writing, which has more of a dreary and dark vibe (there's still a lot of death); it's amazing to see the flexibility of their art. I can't wait to see where the author takes the rest of this and I'm looking forward to see how it ends. On that note, the dedication to making this a complete novel is very nice! The cover art adds to their vision and makes it easier to visualize their intention with the character. I know reading relies heavily on the imagination, but I'm appreciative that it feels like a volume that you can buy right off the shelves!

Brilliantly done at the very beginning. I have a strong love for necromantic characters. The author does a wonderful job at bringing one to life at the very beginning. The story is fast paced, light hearted, and fun. Making it a unique and enjoyable experience the entire time.
Style Score
The author has a flare for bringing the world to life in an amusing way. Introducing concepts that are understandable, relatable, and entertaining all at the same time. Well, unless you happen to hate cats, I guess.
Story Score
The story is well crafted and clearly thought out. Each chapter is a fun ride in silly hijinks that only a nekomancer could contrive.
Grammar Score.
As far as I could ascertain there was no major spelling or grammar error. Sentence structure was great, and the author maintains tense. If there were any mishaps I didn't notice them. Probably due to how enthralled I was with the story.
Character Score
The main character is instantly likeable. Painted as someone who is a bit of a bumbling fool that isn't quite so lucky. Generally well meaning but clearly misunderstood. Definitely one of the more entertaining MC's out there.
All in all a great read and has earned my follow.

It is an entire mood with a side of compelling story. Meme references left and right without hijacking the story. Altogether a pleasant read that has me giggling more often than not. Top notch grammar if you can forgive the word "birb" for bird, I promise it's worth the look.

Cats are cool so are necromancers
So I've read the whole season up to this point want to say I've enjoyed reading every second of it poor Adam has some funny luck and thanks to that gets put into funny situations each character I have to say stands out with some fun side characters. I can't wait for season two looking forwards to see how my dyslexia will make me do double takes on the things I'll read. Hopefully Adam gets over the weight that slows him down. I cannot wait to see how some(two) of the characters develop.Cant wait to see Adam's revenge though its recipient will probably enjoy it. It is time for crab With distant crab rave. 🦀 🐈

I like catboy.
I, too, would also go to extreme lengths for my beloved pets so Adam is immediately someone I can relate to. Even though I'm pretty sure my cat would not care if I made such a sacrifice.

I’m really enjoying this. Cats are great, love cats. The story is good so far, I’m loving the cat theme that’s goin on and the main characters attitude towards it all. Total words needed is 50 so I’m just ganna ramble for a second. I have a kitty named Biscuit and he’s absolutely the sweetest and loves to lay on me while I go to sleep. Came home the other night and he was laying on my beanbag waiting for me and was excited to see me. I love him so much
