originally found 150 chapters of this on YouTube thankfully it was also on royal road. im catching up to current on season 2 but as far as this goes it is a amazing story with training battle lust and love. I was pulling my hair out about the whole shuri situation but the love and heartfelt feeling that come from her story made me want to cry... but that shits for pansies ^.^ lmao

The story isnt as good as many other RR stories but i can tell this guy is passionate about it! There are minor grammar errors here and there and there are some parts in the story that dont need to be included but it does add up to something further in the story.
Some parts aren't compelling but its enough to make me read this everyday when it was consistent.
You may take my rating with a massive pinch of salt :p

It seems like the author really likes DBZ and cool fights, which is fair enough, but there is more to a story than abbreviated character arcs and shonen nonsense fights. The concept has potential, but it requires patience to draw that potential out, and there is no patience here.

Good idea. The first chapters are even good, but the farther it gets, the worse it is. The fights are without any sense; Mc Gott's from normal teen to battle junkie without any reason. Fights got repetitive. Mc doesn't use his advantage in any sensible way he just goes after a stronger opponent like he was a cheap version of Goku. I give up

I've glanced at this novel a few times in my search results and never wanted to find out if the author held himself to a higher standard than I assumed he would or not. Today I decided to give in and try it after I was pleasantly surprised by a different novel entirely, sometimes people just aren't good at "selling" their novel. My main issue was that the only selling point for the novel was a reveal of what mystical weird ass race he would choose that was so out of left field the author called it "uncanny". Once that is revealed there's a good chance that the race selected wouldn't live up to the height of being the sole defining trait of the entire novel, literally everything would hinge on the decision made for the protagonists race.
I decided to put some faith in the author, after all who would write a novel specifically about an "uncanny" and unusual race as the defining feature for an entire online novel if you didn't have something absolutely spectacular cooked up. Minor spoiler alert, there's nothing. No uncanny race choice, no unique perspective to explore. The author couldnt go half a chapter without totally abandoning this work and defaulting back to the easy template of just using a human, not even half a chapter. It dissapoints me to see novel concepts like this so quickly discarded by authors in favour of taking the easy but boring way out.
Advice: either come up with an "uncanny" and unique racial choice or don't market your novel entirely around having an uncanny and unique racial choice. Just say "Igor is a boring default character like you've read a thousand times, prepare to barely remember his name by the end of each chapter and be blown away by how basic the structure is". It would atleast draw in the correct target audience instead of luring in people looking for a unique race selection.

Used to enjoy this, until hitting chapter 176 or something, no clue when it happened, but the novel went from tons of fights and deaths, into petty drama and useless romance.
The last 20 chapters have just been fillers where the main character and side characters are talking and talking, and talking, and talking, and more talking.
I can't begin to express the amount of disappointment I have.
First: The last 20-30 chapters of the novel are just filled with petty drama that could've been resolved within 2-10 chapters.
Second: The author is now just recycling old stuff.
Third: There is too much sexual content. I did not start reading this because I wanted to read smut. No, I came for the fights and advancement in strength.
Fourth: The main character seems to be dumbed and then smarted up just to help with the plot. He goes from being intelligent when needed, and then back to a 5 year old just to fit the plot.
Fifth: The author promotes pedophilia, and that, in of itself, I just can't stand. It started out light, but now, he has even made the mc have a sexual relationship with a much, much older woman, even tho the main character is, what, 15 years old?
Apparently his mental age is in the 80's or something, and he has the body of an 18 year old, but even with all of that, the main character acts and feels as though he is 5-12 years old.
Now, I don't know about you, but it simply makes me uncomfortable.
The author also proceeded to call everyone who shipped Shiri or whatever her name is and Igor, pedos, but then he proceeds to ship them in the story?
So!
What can you expect from this novel?
Well, if you skip like 6/10ths of the novel, and only read the action, then, well, you can expect some decent fight scenes and power ups.
The character development is also decent for a while, but then it just plunges back to being absolute garbage at the authors whim.
So, would I recommend you to read this? Absolutely not.

Preachy much! The whole chapter 52 was just a waste! It didn’t even move the story along, repeating the same thing over and over, just in a different way. I had real high hopes, for the story. I felt like it had a lot of potential, but it’s really just boiling down to tedious, redundant, outdated, ignorance… It’s like you’re trying to copy Dragon Ball Z, but the worst parts of it, and forced it into the story, where it wasn’t really meant to be. But what ever. I am done, this is just my opinion. I gave it an honest go…
