Not a bad novel with an interesting premise. Somebody as morally grey as the MC is an interesting twist compared to who we usually see. And considering  he is leaning on the poison typing in comparison to the usual dark/psychic, i'm hoping to see some very interesting developments, especially in terms of fighting against Team R

Hey, when will you update the story? I really liked it and thought that the story had a lot of potential going forward. You don't see a lot of poison specialist stories. So I personally love the story so far as well as the different characters we've seen. Im really curious as to how our MC grows though I do kinda hope he doesn't go the crime route. But even if he did I would probably still read it.
Looking forward to seeing more, great work so far.

Very promising plot to build off of. Character is pretty well rounded out and has actual thoughts and feelings, not just going action to action. (Nothing worse than a novel where it’s just doing things and never getting the whys of it all) Sarcastic/Jaded MC while also still having a heart in there somewhere is also a nice read along with some pretty good world building

Oh I love the funny bad boy personality. Also Ekans and arbok are overlooked Pokémon. I've always loved their design and thought they deserved more as in a 3rd evolution or a mega-evolution. So many poisonous Pokémon can be OP too. Looking forward to see where this goes. Great first chapter!

So yeah, this one's real good so far, I'm just waiting for more to come out. The dialog is flows well and people sound like people and their decisions so far follow logically. The story manages to hit some good emotional beats pretty early that were enjoyable. All around, good stuff author, in my opinion you're doing much better than most people even on the rising stars list.

I enjoy the story a lot so far. With a good editor it could become a very good story to follow!
Other than that with how short the chapers are I would like to get more updates but thats just my desires.
Good luck author and please keep posting! Loving the fic so far!

The character is interesting, the new OC is great and the use of pokemon knowledge is good.
Would rate it higher if not for a lack of updates.
I suppose I was a little concerned about how the author would handle the team rocket aspect.
I did like how the pokemon are helping our poor guy out with his trauma and it isn't just forgotten about.
My only recommendation would probably be to have the MC have an easier time dealing with the rocket things. Perhaps make MC the reason that Agatha is the one in charge of the Viridian gym in the anime when Ash returns from Jhoto/Hoenn.

    Is the story complete?: NO
Did I drop the story?: YES
Is it hard to read?: NO
Did it do something to stand out?: YES
    Would I recommend it?: NO
    Thoughts:
For a pokemon fanfiction told from the perspective of a criminal reincarnated as a rocket grunt is a solid premise. I'd take a point off from the rating for the fact that our MC has a heart of gold underneath all their poison but it falls squarely under the umbrella of tropes are tools and is used well in this setting as oppose to being eye-rollingly cliche.
How I format my review, keep in mind they are for the readers not the authors:
    - The story starts with 5 stars.
    - I remove 1 star if it is not complete.
    - I remove 1 star if I dropped the story.
    - I remove 1 star if it's hard to read (odd word choice, grammar, etc).
    - I remove 1 star if it fails to do something that stands out. (Funny, Unique premise or perspective etc)
    - I remove the 1 to 1/2 if I would not recommend it to read regardless of score.
Thought: A summary of my personal take.

The grammar makes the story impossible to understand. There are frequent typos, their, they're differences, your, you're issues, zero punctuation, syntax errors and tense errors. This breaks continuity and makes it a chore to read. The trend of plural pronouns makes it even more jarring when its pokemon that's being addressed.
The premise is interesting, but there is a serious gap in descriptions. There are some scene shifts, but its like jumping on to a raging river, there is zero indication that the scene has shifted. Maybe its because the story is trying to be similar to the anime in execution, but the visual cues in the anime is not being translated to text.
