Towers Rise

Description
What would you do if you got a second chance, a chance to redo choices in your past and try to come up with a better solution?
For Trystan, this isn't just a theoritical question, through a bit of luck, and assistance from a dying friend, Trystan has been thrust backward in time. Now he finds himself before the Tower's rise, before the System, before humanity was transported into the Tower for an intergalactic conquest they never agreed to, before Humanity's fall, and he has a chance to alter the future. To keep Humanity from being destroyed or enslaved.
The real question is can he do it? Can he find the strength inside of himself to save his family, friends and loved ones? Can he rise up and teach and lead other's to finding true strength, or will he be doomed to repeat the past, to see the fall of everything that he held dear.

-AS OF CH.8-
I have read a lot of novels with this kind of theme on here. Not many are actually good. Most of them get really out of hand and end up falling into regular tropes. This one surprisingly doesn't.
Thankfully he hasn't foud a loli girl or magically gets a wife. He isn't magically OP. He isn't an idiot that is super protective of his family. I mean he is protective of his family, but not overly so. His reactions feel more natual with a normal family dynamic.
The part about telling his family about the screens was kind of glossed over a little, but the dialogue and the rections were ok with me. It wasn't overly dramatic and got to the meat of the story quicker which I liked.
For his family, he knows that the only help that he can give them is information right now.
It is also refreshing to see that he doesn't magically remember EVERYTHING from all those years of fighting and climing the tower. I mean who remembers everything all those years ago. Only the big things or things that hold value or interest would stay in his mind that long, and I appreciate the author's thought to that.
It is also refreshing to see that he is more pragmatic and logical instead of running around with his head chopped off like an arrogant ****. The best thing so far though, is the fact that this story doesn't have a bunch of face slapping and super arrogant(with no real reason) evil people.(Although, we havent met any in the story yet. I'm just pointing out some flaws I've seen in other novels and hoping that I can help the author a little. Doing great!)
The plot is natural and flows rather well, the status screens are well thought out, and the grammer is perfect so far. I mean I'm not a great grammer person myself, but I haven't seen any mistakes that prevent me from understaning the story so far. So good job again!
All in all, I like it and I hope the author brings us many more chapter - AetholiteRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Its a somewhat generic premise; go back in time to safe the day. Despite that I quite enjoyed it so far.
The writing style is fine, it was a bit rushed at the start, but became better after the first few chapters.
The story premise is as I said before quite generic, but it has some mysteries and foreshadowing already. We will have to see how it turns out in the future, as it is still very much in the set up phase of the story.
I had nothing to really comment on the grammar, overall well done.
The mc is still being worked out but he already has some quirks and traits that distinguish him. The side characters havent gotten much attention yet, so I suggest that when they do come into play, to further expand their personalities and make them unique. Make sure that we also care about them.
Overall I quite enjoyed the story so far, the system and understanding of skills/abilities being important is a very nice touch. The beginning was a bit rushed and further developing the characters should be done in the upcoming chapters. Keep up the good work! - JibjabRoyal Road★ 0.5Ripped content from towers of heaven and reborn apocalypse, maybe others. More than use of tropes.
- KingFreshRoyal Road★ 0.5A complete rip off of Reborn Apocalypse. Very disappointing. Don't waste your time.
- LongTimeReaderFirstTimeWriterRoyal Road★ 0.5This is just Reborn Apocalypse. Literally the same story. This is straight up plagiarism
