- Bishamon45Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0First off, I’m not an expert in this kind of genre and flow of the story as some of these books are too hard for me to understand or I can never bring myself to read such long novels. However, reading this story I think it has a lot of potential and I find it interesting to read given that I don’t usually read this kind of book.
The plot is great so far, each chapter gives different emotions and atmosphere, however it has this tiny thing that is lacking, some chapter builds up this high tension and then dies down in the next chapter, maybe it’s a strategy of the author, I don’t fully enjoy that feeling, so I want the author to kind of expand of those things.
All in all the Author has a great story telling ability, and explains the whole nu thing in a way that is easy to understand, there are also a lot of references that are used, which is very interesting. I am definitely enjoying the characters, plot, the atmosphere, reference that were used and will be sticking around. - SteveabaileyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm not the best at writing reviews. I've only read the first few chapters, I'm enjoying the story, and decided to "follow" the story. Unless something changes, I can't understand how the overall rating of this story is so low. It just doesn't make sense to me. Based on what I've read so far, if you like tower climbing stories, you will probably like this one too.
- Nicole UrbanRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5... heavily inspired by Tower of God. So far I have only read a few chapters, so I only have a cursory impression of the story. The grammar is really good, with only a couple errors here and there. The main character is presented as being super clever, which already makes him an interesting protagonist.
However, as a fan of the "show, don't tell" writing tip, I couldn't help but notice that the author does a lot more telling than showing in places where it would have been helpful.
This story has potential, it just needs work.
