- MK bk-201Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0So an alien invasion is coming, knocking on your heliosphere, how do you fight it?, using the convoluted space laws against the invaders, cause Saul Goodman has nothing on Tom Sawyer, THE space lawyer and technical soverign of earth, cause it looks good on your adoptive alien family if you have a whole planet on your name.
- MerenosRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Great comedic story in the vein of Douglas Adams. . . Or at least I hope not since that would be weird and messy.
No towels included but you may want to bring one along to clean up the salt.
As I have name dropped Douglas Adams I must now run before the most dangerous creatures in the galaxy come after me. . . The lawyers. . .
Stay froody
I hope to see more like this! - PaulTBRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a cool story, somewhat in the style of some of the short fictions that Isaac Asimov used to write.
P.S. This was written partially to piss off the guy who voted one star without leaving a review.
P.P.S. If you are reading this, BlaiseCorvin, then you can't count to two. - kleptomaticRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really love HFY-type stories, and this is definitely one of the good ones.
I've never encountered a lawyer in real life (and hope to never have to) but from what I've heard this is an accurate portrayal.
Many HFY stories revolve around physical ability, so it's always nice to see one about mental ability! - RznRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The premise of a lawyer using stalling tactics as weak as this is a bit of a stretch here. It is done well enough to be worth a laugh, but the humor and the situation drags on with the whole bumbling aspect that has the invaders somehow perplexed and caught up in it. It gets drawn out and the farce stretches a bit too far. It is written well, but not enough to really sell the humor.
