Tokyo Rising

Kurogane Tetsuo was the real name of the helmeted hero Akakabuto. By the age of sixteen, he was an elite soldier that was recruited into and became the team leader of the second generation of Japanese Super Sentai. By the time he turned twenty-three in 1981, he was a decorated hero who had fought off giant monsters from the sea and alien invaders, using giant robots and his special pyrokinetic abilities. He was on the fast track and it seemed as though he was a shoe in to command the the 3rd generation of Super Sentai. Unfortunately for him, a fatal encounter with a Soviet supersoldier left him bleeding to death in a tiny submarine with a former soviet scientist. But as fate would have it, he is given a second shot at life and a new body with far more power potential than his old one. However, it was not without it caveats. Just what the hell is a magical girl anyways?
