Description
The third and final book of the Five Realms trilogy follows two desperate story lines: the epic 4th Realm battle between the animal kingdom and the 5th Realm alliance, and the intrigue in the tunnels of the Orduna Citadel. If Roland and company do not succeed in the former, and Dawn and company do not succeed in the latter, the ancient realm bonds will be shattered, unleashing the immortal Nephilim upon a helpless world.

- sHarpeyeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The title of this, the third and final book of Aaseng's trilogy, has a lot to do with how this story ends. "To Shame the Strong"? Which strong? Human-like beings or animals who communicate telepathically? First Realm dwellers, or Second, Third, Fourth or Fifth Realm natives? Yes, even those born in the First Realm have their strengths, which are revealed to be decisive in the last chapters. Do the characters snatched from our world return to the world we share? Yes, they do, but one does not survive. Truths unravel, bonds break and are made: this last book brings some solutions but leaves some mysteries unsolved. It is full of battles, betrayals, sacrifices, and sudden understandings. I recommend it.
