Elodie Fleetwood's mother went missing three months ago to look for a treasure that her pirate father wanted to keep hidden. Sky pirates kidnap Elodie in attempt to lure her mother out to lead them to the treasure, thrusting her into a world of magic, mysticism, and gold.

On her adventure, she learns more about the treasure her father buried and its ties to the lost civilization of Manoa, a magical empire that once ruled over the Sea of Gales.
