  I gave this a 4 star rating for the following reasons,
  1. Grammar and spelling:  I found a few errors, but they were fairly minor and did not detract from the story.
  2. Style: this is where the story really shines, the tone the author uses is excellent, I had tears in my eyes reading about an old lady no longer able to keep up the home she loved. The tone pushed her emotions across to me the reader. That is excellent style.
  3. Story:  I gave the story a four because its still very early, I have a feeling this will be a very slow burn story.  If you are looking for a quick action fix please go elsewhere. But since I have not seen enough of the story to realy judge where it's going I can't give it higher than a 4.
  4. Character Score: The three here is a bit iffy for me.  My biggest questions on the story right now is with the main character. She feels much younger than her stated age of 24. A massive lack of self confidence and a propensity to random tears push that conclusion for me. That said, she is still very likable and the great aunts character is really fun. Her little prospective coven seem a bit out there, like extra's for a witches power ranger squad, but that is probably deliberate. Give it time and they will probably blosum as minor characters.
