Tiya is a farmgirl turned soldier, who just so happens to be the mother to a son who is going to change the world, and save it from... who knows?

Tiya doesn't know, but she's happy to go find out, and woe to anyone who gets in the way of her son and their destiny!

Note: This is not Book Five of the Power of Ten!. This will initially be a short story of 10-15 chapters for the Magazine contest on Royal Road.

This is another story in the Power of Ten setting, its LitRPG, though the author has avoided going as in depth as he normally would with the rules in his other stories. Which is fine by me, of course, as I've read all of his other stories and also am a long time D&D player, which is the rules system this series of novels runs off of.
This was apparently written for the Writathon, and is paused for now, but there's a lot of promise here, with Deuce reminding me a lot of the situation one of the major characters from Book 1 was in. Similar, but also veeery different.
As usual, the grammar, punctuation, and spelling are top notch.
Hopefully RED will find the time to add some more chapters at some point!

As of ch 5 this is a good start. I have a feeling that, with this being a short story, as stated by the author, that I will be left wanting more.
the authors comments seem to be an necessary part of the storyline, that would otherwise break the flow if put into the actual tale

Very very early days yet but Druin hasn't released a bad scrap of writing to date.
The story seems very interesting and entirely distinct from their other works on the site.
I am very much looking forward to where this goes and will have to remember to update my review periodically over the coming weeks and months.
