Betelans believe their Many Gods are unique to them. In his travels, xenoarchaeologist Sorgon has found alien races who worship a similar set of gods. His belief that all gods trace their lineage to a central planet is considered heretical. When he discovers a treasure trove of idols on a long dead planet, it seems his theory of a universal 'True Religion' may be true.
