A runaway bride skips town when she realizes her fiancé is simply never going to get it.

With nothing but a beat up car, a worn out backpack, and an invitation from her grandfather, she finds herself in a strange little town. She takes the attic “apartment” in her grandfather’s home, always being watched by his strangely present cat.

The idyllic town is quaint, old-timey in a way that doesn’t quite fit in with the modern era. the kind of place where there are no secrets. As she navigates life in this odd place, will she find a way to fit in and be happy? Or is that uneasy feeling she gets every time she turns a corner the mark of something terribly wrong?
