Description

Jack, a man trapped in a life of monotony, is abruptly thrust into an otherworldly realm after a fatal accident. In the abyss between worlds, he encounters an enigmatic and powerful being who offers Jack a chance at rebirth in a fantastical world known as The Realm. The price? A single favor to be called upon at any time, and Jack must accept the terms of the System—a framework of levels, stats, and abilities that will govern his new life.

Jack's past was defined by his yearning for something greater than the drudgery of his daily existence. He was always drawn to fantasy worlds through books and daydreams, dreaming of adventures beyond the ordinary. Now, faced with the chance to live out his fantasies, he must grapple with the reality of his new existence.

Love this opening chapter.  Really grabs you right from the getgo.  Feels like it may be a deal with the devil or perhaps not. The characters feel real and 3 dimensional.  Writing style is excellent and it appears this author is a pro.  Wondering what else he has written,  Looking forward to subsequent chapters!

    Style:
The writing style is direct and descriptive, as we are given a vivid image of the world and surroundings. There were no instances of overly flowery writing and the game mechanic didn’t distract from the story. The author has done a great job at setting up the hostile environment in the first few chapters. A small criticism is that some of the fighting scenes could use a bit more descriptions of the actual motions of the fight. They are often written as: Character A attack character B with slashes targeting his weak point. Instead try something more like: Character A thought back to when Character B hesitated to apply weight to their right leg during their previous attack. Thinking fast, Character A twisted their waist to deliver a low kick sweeping Character B off their feet before finishing them off with a downward thrust from their blade as they hit the ground. Try making the action scenes a bit more fluid.
    Story:
So far the story is basically just the MC walking around in the forest killing stuff to get stronger, this isn’t bad but it can make it hard to hook readers if the core conflict of the story isn’t quickly established in the first few chapters. The story that we do have so far is decently written, but the core conflict does need to be established soon.
    Grammar:
Everything is perfect in this department.
    Character:
So far no supporting characters have been introduced and we only have the MC to work with. The MC is fine but I do feel like we’re far too early in the Story for me to form any true opinions on him. I’ll say that so far he is OK, there’s nothing bad about how he’s written so far so I’ll just rate this category a 5.
In conclusion, this is a slow but solid start to a story. It may lack a hook outside of the Isekai element, but i do see this turning into a decent story in the long run.

It's okay.  My biggest complaint is that you don't see the outside world until book 3. The first 2 books are the MC in the woods the whole time.  I love a solo MC but I kept wanting him to eventually see the world and it took 800 pages to do so.  The side characters are fine, but a little one dimensional.
Good action,  decent system, and MC has a great tempetment, but the story is missing something to truly make it great. I'd recommend it but I'm out at this point.

The writing style is great. I didn't have any problems visualizing the world you created. You don't sugarcoat it, but sometimes I wish you could provide more visual description to objects, not just using the System texts. Same goes with combat (I am aware a previous reviewer brought this up, but I thought I should too). The story, as of now, is decent, but you almost lost me nearer to the end. Which brings me to my next point.
This might be me personally, but I think you use the System too much in the story. It's a good device for providing a 'reward' for completing quests and the like, but I think it's taking up too much of the chapters, instead of actual story. Also perhaps consider putting the System parts in a blue box?
Overall, the story is going well so far. Keep it up!
