17-year old Selah Rotavelle always wanted to be a queen, but with her mother against her and her sister in line for the crown, she has little hope except for marrying into another family. But when a king from the South offers a marriage proposal to her father Selah becomes suspicious. After investigating she runs away to another land with the help of a friend and magic.
