This pairing resonates with me not only because I love the pairing itself but Tali reminds me of someone... Someone I lost a few years ago... They're almost identical in their fierce jealousy, cute demeanour and even their build. I only recently started playing Mass Effect and it has quickly become my favourite game. She reminded me of her right from the very start of the first game. Hah. I didn't think I would ever cry when writing a review for a fanfiction after I had already spent so many tears reading the thing itself. Your work brought a warmness to my heart I thought I lost years ago. Maybe now I'll finally be able to move on from my first true love. Thank you.
With that being said, believe me when I say this is an incredible fanfic. Expertly written. Almost faultless. Only thing I would change is giving Shepard and Tali a chance to further their genes via tank breeding / surrogate wombs. It feels like a shame that their blood dies with them. I would have also liked to see Garrus and the others at their wedding. Still though, this is still the best fanfic I have ever had the great pleasure of reading.
It feels like a combination of other works expertly woven into one fanfic... The Sneaky Fox, is that you? Hah. I wouldn't be mad if it was. I suppose you might have wanted to create something better than "The Silence After"? Would explain why you dropped off the face of the Earth and deleted your fanfics. If it isn't you, then ignore this and take pride in the fact that you made something that surpasses the old greats.
Definitely deserves more reviews and comments. I wish you the best and hope that one day, this work is recognised for not only having the best pacing, characterisation but also story in all the fanfics I have read thus far. You didn't disrepsect Tali, Shepard, Garrus or any other crewmate. You loved them all as we do. You gave them their spotlight and you respected it. Once again, thank you.
