It's not her fault she was born with a face that screams arrogance and villainy! Maybe, she should have controlled her temper and not called the Goddess a slut. - syderiticRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0One of the most engaging and rewarding reading experiences in this site.
This is my own opinion, hopefully it will be yours after you read a few chapters.
Recomended for those willing to enjoy the journey, rather than achieve a set point in the story.
PS: Also.... easter eggs!!!! :p
The Author has a lot of talent and it shows.
On the style side I have to say that the Author manages to sucessfully blend from narrator to observer and actor in an almost seemless way. It is very engaging and quite refresing. Keeps things sharp and manages to keep the pace of the story more character driven than plot driven.
On the plot side, so far(chapter 18) it keeps building. Let it be plot wise or world wise, it keeps expanding. Waiting to see how it all plays out. Characters are introduced, motivations known, etc. I think it might be a bit early to be too judgemental in this area. I feel that some reviews were hoping for some early closures (but this isn't xianxia). Instead we are being slowly dipped into "This Wrong World". Which has quite a few things right. ;)
No grammar mistakes worth mentioning, but the character section is worth a few pennies. I feel that this is both one of the strongest points and weaker points. On one hand the characters are still being introduced, which in some cases one could say that is going a bit slow, on the other hand I feel that the Author intends to "unwrap" the characters plot wise. As most things are still being set up, there is a lot about the characters that we don't know but that is what is moving this story forward.
On the MC side we understand some of the motivations, some of the times, and what we don't is placed "on hold - let it play out - it will be explained". The abilities are not wholly known but are not relevant to the plot insofar as the ones needed to be known are known and used as plot devices properly. Rather than define the abilities and limitations beforehand and then evolve the character, we get a character with a very compre - HoloSolRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Loved Izo. This definitely has a lot of potential if the author ever chooses to return to it.
I’m a total sucker for these kinds of unique premises. I have long since gotten bored of practically every urban/paranormal/fantasy/romance novel with the same base formula that seem to clog up 90% of the shelf space at your local book store.
Thanks for submitting your work on RoyalRoad! - gnarlytreemanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a very enjoyable read. Please write more.
- magpieRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Our Protagonist, Izo, is too sane and disciplined to be an arch-villain ... yet.
Being returned to a parallel world and assuming the identity of a namesake she is just attempting to live a prosperous and comfortable life. Leveraging the wealth of her new identity into an ambitious financial project.
With a world full of laughably inept Heroes the only question is when she will discover her inner 'Lex Luthor' ? - Iori AngelRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The MC is likeable, the plot is well thought out and loved the face slapping in it. I will edit when I've read more into the series.
- RubyliciousRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The story is nice but it falls short in grammar. Someimes, i get completely confused as to what is happening in a scene and i think the author fails to describe scenes clearly.
Apart from that, it's not bad. But the story seems to have nothing to do with the synopsis so i'm a tad confused. - sdeligarRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0It's so nice to find one of the rare stories with a mostly intelligent main character that can scheme and plot along with the villans. I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes.
The only reason I haven't given it a full five stars is the author could really use an editor or proof reader as there are a lot of confusing sentences due to wrong word usage or words missing all together not to mention the usual spell errors. - kellmasterRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5A slightly different approach to the Isekai theme, so far has proved interesting despite the short chapters.
In DIRE need of a proofreader. Every single chapter I've read has multiple errors in grammar or spelling. - DefinitelyNotAReptileRoyal Road★★★ 2.5The main reverse isekai theme is pretty well done, and the world is believable enough. At least up until where i'm at the main story arc is decent and the main character and a very limited number of the supporting cast are well thought out. And this is where my praise for this story ends. Most characters apart from the mc are terribly written douchebags who are such absurdly dumb assholes they pull you out of the story through sheer dumbfoundedness. I'm only 12 chapters in but the author has already used the same tired trope of someone else taking credit for the op protagonist twice, and each time the confrontations are very simplistic with fights that do nothing to pull you in because there are basically no stakes to them. The chapters are also very hard to read. Commas are seemingly thrown in by the bucketload at entirely random points throughout the phrases, which have little to no real structure and are riddled with grammatical errors.
If you are the type of person who can overlook the way it's written, you might find the dumb characters funny and enjoy this, but for most poeple i would not reccomend it. - A little worldRoyal Road★ 1.0The grammar is not that great... the plot is hollow, a lot of author fiat going on in the first few chapters. I dunno why, but for some reason (sarcasm) this story was written by a chubby guy with no life. I'm still trying to figure out how the hell this story got into trending. They tend to be good. This fiction just feels... cheap.
