The ending struck me as kind of predictable, but that makes it scarier IMO.
The grammar was good, and so was the description. There were some hiccups like dialogue from a new speaker not being on a new line, but I could still tell who was speaking which was the most important part.
Overall, a good spooky story to put me in Halloween season mood.
