While the people of The City work hard every day, they cannot go out at night. As the robots of a massive war decades prior stalk the streets and prevent anyone from leaving their homes when the moon rises. With no outlet for their trauma, they turn to outlets for their stress. One such outlet is The Club, a small hole-in-the-wall where, for the right price, you can talk away your troubles for a thousand credits an hour. Stella is one such unlicensed therapist, this is her story.

Therapy with cat girls in a dystopian world that is really bleak and yet written well enough that it captures a vibe and setting that is done in only a handful of pages. This is a really good short story for being able to convey so much while at the same time carrying that jaded weight of a future. Worth a read for sure!
