When faced with natural demise, any living, self aware being will find a way to defy that fate. Whether that be on the scale of entire nations and worlds patchworked together on one planet that seems to have a never ending horizon, to the people who are forced to adapt to the new world. Will their bonds to the past be the thread tying them together, or the chains that will doom them all to repeat a cycle of horrifying events? All that can be done is to document the world, and try to make sense of the chaos.
Follow the adventures of Shoa the Mech and Rhys the Human as they scatter themselves across their grand world.

- Virell_Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5Read up through Chapter 4 and I’m really enjoying this so far.
The characters are easily the biggest highlight.
Shoa and Rhys both have great, distinct voices, one’s neurotic and awkward, the other reckless and chaotic, and they bounce off the world (and each other) really well. The group dynamics are also fun and feel pretty natural, with lots of small, lively moments that keep things interesting.
The worldbuilding is super solid too.
Nothing feels forced or heavy-handed. The way the species tensions and social divides are shown through casual interactions makes the setting feel lived-in without slowing things down.
If I had to nitpick, pacing can be a little loose sometimes. It’s very character-driven (which works), but I’d love to see the plot threads tighten a bit and give stronger momentum moving forward.
That said, I’m really into the tone and vibe so far. Great cast, great atmosphere, and plenty of subtle hooks to keep me curious. Definitely planning to stick with this one
