THE WORLD OF AIMON is the story of a disgruntled office worker in a city with a portal to another dimension. From there, he encounters the alien races and has to deal with the troubles of a new society. Our antiheroes' attitude is extremely excited, though. This is a chance for them to not only enjoy the ambiance of a place away from their homelessness and crime-ridden city as well as dead-end job but also spite everyone since the portal could only transport one person through.
The game system for here is concise and well written with the typical progression fantasy method. I've so far enjoyed the writing and am anxious to see where it goes from here. I like the summoning element that is central to the story and think its an underused style of magic.

Isekai LitRPG with Pokemon, need I say more? This is a fantastic trip into a world where there are actual stakes. I’m very excited to see how this collection story unfolds.
    Character 5/5
The MC, Myron, is a very complicated character. He’s grown dissatisfied with his life as an office worker and walks out in a fashion many of us have fantasized about numerous times. Unlike a lot of the isekai stories where the MC is summoned against their will, the MC decides to maroon himself in the other world, leaving ours behind.
    Grammar 5/5
There are some places where the grammar could be improved, but nothing that detracts from the story.
    Story 5/5
The story follows what essentially equates to a midlife crisis where a depressed office worker travels to a new world and begins building a new life with absolutely nothing. To do this, he bonds with an Aimon and then must battle other Aimon to collect resources to convert into money. At this point, he is learning the rules that the native “trainers” have as well as which ones are ignored in specific locations.
    Style 5/5
The author paints a picture of the perilous and mortal world that the MC lives in, both before and after the isekai moment. The descriptions are vivid, bringing to life an interesting and vibrant world that is full of wonder and danger.

If you're into the idea of Stands from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure being like Pokémon and forming bonds, this story is right up your alley. It’s set in a world where Humans and Aimons share a deep bond, battling together in a way that reminds me of spirit contracts in other stories.
The protagonist, Myron, lives in a dystopian city drowning in despair and monotony. The city’s already grim situation worsens after the appearance of a mysterious portal, which leaves half the population homeless. Feeling trapped in his meaningless routine, Myron makes a bold decision to abandon his job and head straight for the portal. On the other side, he discovers a whole new world.
This setup alone gives us a glimpse into how depressed and desperate our MC is, and the way the story portrays these emotions is one of its strongest points. Each character’s emotions are vividly depicted, making them stand out—especially since the Bond is meant to be an emotional connection. So, yeah, the characters are absolutely AMAZING.
The grammar is solid, with only a few minor hiccups that don’t detract from the overall experience. The writing style is engaging, not the very best out there, but it’s more than good enough to pull you into the story without getting in the way.
As for the plot, it follows a familiar LitRPG path with Myron gaining a System and Skills. But the introduction of Aimons adds a fresh twist. You’ve got the usual training and battles, complete with hype moments and well-described scenes.
All in all, this is a great read if you’re feeling nostalgic for Pokémon or Jojo, or if you’re just looking for something new in the LitRPG genre.

If you've ever thought JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure needed a bit more Pokémon-style action, The World of Aimon is a must-read. This book takes familiar elements from creature-bonding stories and drops them into a dystopian world, creating a story that's imaginative and packed with emotional depth. It’s a LitRPG, but what sets it apart are the Aimons—creatures humans share deep bonds with. It feels like a fresh twist on the genre.
The story kicks off with Myron, your average unhappy office worker stuck in a crumbling city destroyed by a mysterious portal. Tired of his mundane existence, he decides to leave it all behind and venture through the portal into the unknown. His desperation is palpable, and it really sets the tone for a journey driven by emotion, survival, and self-discovery. As Myron navigates this new world, his relationship with his Aimon adds a whole new layer to his character, making his story even more compelling.
One of the book's biggest strengths is its characters. Myron is a complex protagonist—his midlife crisis and dissatisfaction are super relatable, and his decision to dive into the unknown feels bold and refreshing. The other characters, especially the various Aimons, are just as well-written. The bonds they form are so vividly described that it gives the whole story a real emotional kick. This is something you don’t always see in LitRPGs, where stats and systems can sometimes overshadow character development.
On the technical side, the writing is mostly solid. Sure, there are a few minor grammar slips, but nothing that takes away from the story. The prose is sharp and direct, which works well for the fast-paced action. The descriptions of Aimons and their battles are super engaging, making it easy to picture the action. That said, the writing can get a bit flowery at times, slowing things down slightly, but it’s rare enough that it doesn’t hurt the overall experience.
The plot follows the typical LitRPG format—Myron levels up and gains new skill

A perfect story for anyone who loves Pokemon! There are a great variety of Aimon (monsters/creatures) to explore and discover!
Story 5/5: The story is great! It's fun to see Myron leave behind the suffocating corporate world to make his own destiny. There's lots of interesting things that happen early on to make the story engaging! The world is unique and fun to read about.
Grammar 4/5: The grammar is pretty good overall. Wrong or misspelled words were used in a few places, and there are some punctuation errors. For me, it would occasionally pull me out of the story, but overall it didn't detract from my enjoyment.
Style 4/5: The style is very punchy and direct. It makes the story feel fast paced, but there is also very good description to help visual all the new creatures Myron encounters. It's very light-hearted which makes it easy to read. Occasionally the language got too flowery, making it hard to follow everything that was being described.
Character 5/5: Myron is a very fun, relatable character with a Pokemon obsession. He's a guy who decides to take his fate into his own hands and leaps (literally) into a new world. The other characters add great dimension to the story.
Overall 4.5/5:  This is a fun read which will appeal to anyone who likes light-hearted monster hunting and capturing fictions!
