- jrdangleRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really like it so far. Some parts are confusing, but seem to be coming together as it goes on. I think my main favorite point is that while a lot of the tropes seem familiar, they often either turn out to be different than I expect, or are just more fully developed than other books I read. I also like how there is classic fantasy races but no magic. Almost has a star trek vibe. And it's cool to get more of a dwarf cultur pov. Things to improve, it seems to wander at some points. Not that I don't like the sub plots, but there is a lot. But maybe that's a style choice. Gonna wait til I read the whole thing to make a final judgement.
