The Witching Hour

I have been a witch for the better part of two centuries now. I have claimed dominion over the swamp and forest surrounding my little hut. The local rulers, nobles, and even fey courts all agree it's mine. Life is peaceful and far better than my old life, that's for sure. If I never have to answer another phone in my life, it would still be too soon. Not that I have to worry about that anymore. But I digress, why don't you sit down and relax as I tell you, and my familiars, about how it all began, and how I got to where I am today, and beyond.
