The Winding Path

This is a story about a dungeon. A very mean, nasty dungeon. A dungeon that doesn’t like most things. A dungeon that likes to find new and interesting ways of breaking most things. It is a very cruel and intelligent place, who has a most horrible sense of humor. It’s delights are very likely your horrors, and frankly you likely won’t like it (the dungeon or the story). But, if you’re so inclined, come with me on a journey; a descent, if you will, into the underworld, into madness.

This is my first publish so constructive criticism is warmly welcomed. I’ve got a couple different ideas for other stories I’d like to develop, so let me know if y’all want to see more of this or not. I know this snippet doesn’t touch on world/dungeon building or plot at all, but I’m more worried about characters and tone at this point. Thanks!
