Finding the neighboring village unexpectedly desolate, Orion realizes he must seek out more information lest the same happen to his home.

Tallulah, from the lost village and now stranded in the modern smoky mountains of Appalachia, finds herself unwillingly forced to confront the local territorial, mercurial, and beautiful vampires. Alone and feeling she's on an impossible task, Tallulah is compelled to navigate her unexpected desires for and against vampiric manipulations.

Orion, trying to find clues, comes across a mysterious vampire and soon finds himself desperate for her. Is she only claiming him for herself, or are her motivations malevolent? Will Tallulah give in to the unfamiliar trappings of luxury and submission? Orion and Tallulah must unexpectedly cross paths in the mist-covered mountains, far from what they knew, to bring the lost Fey home.

Now that you know a bit of what you're getting yourself into, this is a dark and urban fantasy set in the Wilds, a fantastical and dangerous world of the fairies (called fey & faeries interchangeably in these stories), and modern America's southeast–Appalachia's Great Smoky Mountains, to be precise.The Wildsseries will havematurethemes: profanity, violence, sometimes highly uncomfortable situations, and occasionally descriptive intimate encounters.Some books from the series will be darker than others, but the tone will remain constant. This world ofThe Wildscan be unfair, and spots of brightness and/or purity should be cherished.
