The Warhog Paladins

Description
Mia only has one option left: Travel to the planet Revivium and enter the game.
As someone without any body mods, Revivium is Mia’s last chance to do something with her life not involving selling herself to a Corp or someone worse. Enter the game, earn Bitz, and get out before a monster kills her.
That was the plan.
Revivium is anything but simple. A realm-wide quest seemed like the perfect chance to score the Bitz she needed to leave. Then she finds it: The helm, a magical artifact created by the Warhog Paladins. They were the first guild of the game, considered the good guys until someone slaughtered the leadership.
The helm contains a friendly AI, Hex who befriends Mia, but now she's got to get Hex to the main guildhall. Players are after it, but she's not giving Hex up - no matter what. It's time for the good guys to have a second chance.
Welcome to Revivium, where game over means death.

- KleggtRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0From the very start, this novel is solidly written - there is always plenty of information given without being either too sparse or too dense with scene setting. The style is consistent throughout what I have read so far and pairs perfectly with the structure to ensure that the prose is easy to read and parse.
The MC, Mia, is a very grounded and believable character. Not only in a rough state and different from the majority, but the struggles of her 'normal' life also have not jaded her. Although her past is something to come to terms with (and is why she is in Revivium), she approaches her place in the new world in earnest.
As the start has dealt with the starting progression of Mia getting used to the system, I can't get into the tasty morsels that the blurb alludes to. I can, however, say that the story presented so far is very believable and promises something very traditionally LitRPG as the MC starts on her first Quests and has access to her stats. There have been some really interesting things alluded to - the world being streamed like a show, tournaments or games where people can risk their lives for greater opportunity, and of course, the underlying mystery that party of the novel title!
The grammar has been totally fine. No obvious errors or any structural or formatting issues that make the chapters hard to read. Well written by all accounts.
Overall this is a very easy to get into LitRPG that lends well to the strength of the MC while being familiar to those who know the genre. I've added this to my follow list, and hope to catch up soon! - FireballchargingRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Disclaimer: I did this for a review swap.
It was well-written and I enjoyed the premise. The main character is easy to relate to and the tone does a good job of helping the reader understand what the main character is thinking and feeling.
The story has good pacing, and every character introduced had unique personalities. The plot, as of this review, leaves a lot of good mystery for the author to solve and I'm interested to see where the author goes with some of the plot threads. - Five6212Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5Revivium, as of the current chapters, is a very good read, exciting and wonderfully crafted.
The grammar's good, I didn't find any mistakes that woulf distract me from enjoying my read. Then the characters, they were the highlights of the story, each with a distinctive personality, even the NPCs have their own personality.
The story follows Mia, a poor girl in a gamelit world, and we get to explore the world with her eyes. The author does a good job, but I would recommend more descriptions of the environment to better immerse the readers into the world.
This story is worth every bit of your time. - Conrad StokesRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Disclaimer: This review is for a review swap with the author.
I liked this story. For a lot of review swaps I get to 10k words and then bounce, but this one has me continue going along.
Story/Style: Right off the bat I would say that this story is standard fare. I don’t mean that in an insulting way, but it has some of the expected tropes “corporations”, “underdog”, and “grinding” (all of which is noted in the fiction blurb).
The story has a good hook in the beginning with the mysterious disappearance of an entire guild, so it has that going on for it relatively quickly. Some fictions meander in the starting zone for too long without progressing the A plot, but this fiction seemed to go at a quick, yet not too quick, pace.
Characters: The main character is likable enough. If you’re looking for a butting kicking, hard head that spits nails, then this is not your MC. She makes kind choices and reflects those choices on a background that is repeatedly reminded to the reader as being harsh and underprivileged. Side characters are cool! I don’t want to spoil anything, but I liked the addition of one that happens past the 10k word mark, so you’ll have to read past there if you want to see for yourself.
Grammar: some of the word choice is poor and a bit too colloquial. There are not too many errors though that will pull you out of the story.
Overall: quick read since the character and plot develop smoothly. Decent story. Recommend if you like the genre.
