This series has truly been spectacular. I just fell into this story and couldn’t put it down. The series has fantastic side characters that actually play a role in the series and aren’t just there for minor entertainment… now, I’ve had my ups and downs with some of the side characters both major and minor. More on that later. Just know that you might feel the same way. Now, I will be listing some spoilers down below but I will hide them. It’s up to you if you wish to unveil those. Now, there are some triggers in this series. This leads to the spoiler section
there is incest in this series… also there is some male on male gay sexual tensions… that is kinda out there and last but not least there’s a person in the series that’s a male that preys on small boys…. I shouldn’t even mention the shotas lol but they exist and I have no idea if that’s a trigger for some but it’s there.
okay now that’s been said and out of the way the author really has insane information dumps… now, i absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOOOVE!!! Long chapters, but sometimes the chapters could be 3-4 huge paragraphs of inner monologues that can be repetitive and tiring. Also there’s horrendous spacing with the way the author writes… I had to go into my settings and adjust everything just to barely be able to read with a constant flow and even then I still lose my place because it looks like a giant jumble of gobbity gook. I mean I got use to it after reading over 200 chapters but it exists! Also later on some of the fights were like 10+ chapters… I will always say this in a review, for me the reader that gets tiring because you sometimes forget what happened to one person that’s involved in the fight because it will be 5v5 and the two people facing off could have happened 8 chapters ago and you’re like oh man how did they die again? While trying to digest all the rest of the fight and madness going on. So every time I read a series that an author has these epic 20 chapter fight scenes I will ALWAYS count

Yeah I can’t with this story anymore. I liked everything about this book until chapter 27, 28, and 29. And it’s all because of the first love interest and the main character total lack of awareness and self respect. A woman that the mc has had no postive interactions with, has insulted him multiple times, and attacked him more than once is the woman he is in love with. All this happening in the span of a week? Because he likes that she strong? Because he respects her? All these are bad reasons when they have shown disdain for you, even if it’s not her true feelings, that is what she has shown. That is all that she has said about him. Not one positive thing. Not one romantic moment. Nothing at all. But he lives her. Worst interaction between them is when a spoiled brat that she takes care of didn’t want to travel with him anymore because he killed some people that planned that planned to rape someone said she don’t want to travel with him anymore. So she said we don’t have to travel with him, then invites the mc brother to travel with them by themselves. And his brother basically agrees. When the mc is understandably upset and punches him once after going off on him, she body checks him and breaks a rib. A few days later he forgives her and tells her he loves her. Can’t do it anymore. Wouldn’t recommend this book alone for how easy it was for him to just get over it and confess to her after that.
