I'm just gonna ramble on a little further her because reviews have to be at least 50 words long and that's a lot of words for a guy like me without much to say about how much I enjoyed the story and respect the work. - RznRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This is a good short story, it sets the tone and stays on theme, while it is dark and bleak there is still a sense of madness and hope in it. It stays on message, but at the same time it seems contradictory because in this post apoc world we see signs of a recent event. This just simply would not be possible and significantly undercuts the piece. It gets a little philosophical, but given the events described he never even considers for a moment the implications of his discovery. Still a good short story.
