- HexwolfxRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love novels with MC that have somethng to with wolfs It what drew me to this novel. It has it's own unique fill to it, and gives this type lore lay useing some common type of fantasy races. The grammar could use a little work but over all great novel. Also you should but a romance/harem tag for this novel sinch the MC is in a relathship now.
- TwistedDollarsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0this is amazing i find that the idea is fresh and interesting and the mc is well designed and sticks well to the core of the character the interactions are also interesting and fun and you actually enjoy reading them and they are so cute you should definitely give this a read if youre into like anti heros and op mcs
- IVempexRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The best Novel I was able to read to far. A Dream of an experience. <3
- lamnetRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I would characterize myself as a critical person but I really cant find too much to criticize here.
The story is obviously well developed and planned. Its an original story as well, so no worries about it being a cliche story.
The character developement is where this story shines for me. Ira is surrounded by a guaze of mystery and depth that draws you in and makes you genuinely curious about him. Avery is a well developed character with her own quirks that compliment Ira well (would love some more of her, maybe a Avery POV?). The other side characters like Aldis, Amy, and Clark all have a lot of potential and arent the generic side characters. Even the antagonists have their own stories and motivations that allow the readers to sympathize to some extent.
The grammar I wasnt really paying attention to because of the story but there are no glaring mistakes.
As for the style of the story, its a mature, grim, but vibrant style that allows the story to breath and live.
Brillaint! - Shiki SeirenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.05 Stars from me. The story has been great so far, the writing style , grammar and speling are almost perfect, and I love the dynamic between the MC and his, let's call it "love interest" to avoid spoilers.
There are no run-on sentences (a pet peeve of mine... I hate these things, trying to read those makes me feel like I have to constantly rush through them...bah).
The MC is OP, but as of now not to a degree that there aren't people stronger than him, and his companions also get some major power-ups. He does not hesitate to use his given power, and also is not just some goody two-shoes, something that I really dislike about quite a few OP characters.
So all in all, I love this story. Keep on rocking!
(I'm only sad I missed the "Clark getting his friends and loved ones killed because he is a total pussy"kill-count days ;) ) - Bored monsterRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Honestly seeing the prologue made me a little apprehensive to start this story but I'm glad I did. The most important thing to keep in mind is the mc is a cold hearted killer with twisted morals and ideals who at the start doesn't really try to get stronger only when the 'phantom' appears will he try.
- Sophisticated HippopotamusRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This book is simply awesome. The fights are descriptive and the story is non repetative. The grammer can be better but is still good. Kinda gets a bit guessable towards the end but i think thats just me. The characters are interesting and the plot is relatively original. Now I am off to read the sequel.
- PettyOfficerRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0One big bad thing: it's missing the "traumatising content" tag. And this fiction DESPERATELY needs it.
The title's "Void Wolf" is not the main focus of the story. Instead, the fiction focuses on the results from its traits being passed onto a misfortunate child. Also, this child does not fall into the "abyss" of hellish experience nor dark emptiness. Instead, he reacts to his experience of the "abyss" and it reflects upon his interactions with the world.
Only with Clark does this actual normal "abyss" experience occur, which is funny because his name reminds me of Clark Kent, which is the false persona of Superman...
Still, the content is appealing. I want to lower the Grammar score but... other writers have a much harder time with Grammar so I'll scale it to its comprehensibility. - kyzereRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I really enjoyed this book, but I couldn’t finish once I found out that the sequel wasn’t going to be done and the author went MIA a couple years ago. I even went on his patreon and they just disappeared one day. I hope nothing bad happened to them and that they return eventually as they definitely are a talented author.
- maelos61Royal Road★★ 2.0As the title of my review states, if you had to break down the story to its core 'Wish fulfillment OP MC' would be that core. 21 Chapters in and I'm finally giving up because I can't handle it anymore.
Style: I'm not an expert, so I can't really say anything other than 'it's okay'. There doesn't really seem to be anything wrong with the style, but it's not special in any sort of way either. It's okay.
Grammar: Like with every story (and likely this very review I'm writing) there are small mistakes. Unlike most stories here on RRL however, this story is actually readable from a grammar perspective. I've noticed a lot of budding writers on this site are actually using storywriting as a way to practice their English. That's probably a great way to learn English, but it's horrible for anybody trying to read the drivel that comes out of it. This author at the very least grasps English enough that he might as well be/ maybe is a native English speaker. Thank you for not burning my grammar-nazi eyes too much.
Story: By chapter 21 there isn't one. I've seen another review describe it as 'stuff happens' and totally agree with that. Stuff just happens and the author writes about it. Not in a way that makes said stuff seem like a logical course of action either. Avery falls in love with Ira? Sure, why not. Ira just straight up accepts to marry Avery? Sure, why not. Everybody likes Ira, besides the obviously 1-dimensional 'baddy/arrogant characters'? That's totally to be expected since he's a totally interesting and great guy. Totally not an obviously mentally ill psychopath.
Characters: Hahahahahaha. Hahahahahaha. Hahahahaha. No. There are no characters worth the category 'character' in this 'story'. Ira, the supposedly main character, is a blank slate. He just goes with the flow, smirks and is a psychopath. That's literally everything you know about him and those 3 things are the entirety of his persona. Avery? Supposedly a badass captain or something who never smiles, but of
