The Villainess Has Fallen
Community Rating
Description
An overworked executive. An innocent, suffering soul. A twist of fate brings the two dreams in one magical way.
Waiting for her inevitable end as she gazes at the frozen pastels painting the southern skies, Leonora—a simple, enlightened soul finds herself thrown into a pit of darkness.
But worse is yet to unfold.
Bound, gagged, and blindfolded, she wakes up and discovers she has transmigrated into another world. Not as Leonora, but… Victoria—an infamous villainess whose wicked feats have bedeviled her kingdom.
A mass murderer, a malicious plotter, an evil witch, and a king-killer. A fallen princess condemned to death through the worst of all punishments—death on a burning stake.

- ChristieRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I don't even know how I found this novel, through new updates? Thank God the cover got to me! Then I read the synopsis "oh Lit RPG with maybe romance somewhere"? Ok, let's try, hope it's not a pushover MC. And for now, I am just in chapter 3, but already happy enough to tell you, I loved the premises of this story.
I have absolutely no complaints about your writing or style, so much I went to see if you wrote something before, because boy, it's good. So, I do have some concern seeing both your other fictions are on hiatus, and hope dearly this isn't the case here.
I rarely start on a novel so early on (right now only 11 chaps), and I had to stop to come back and do you just with a review, cause the one I read didn't reflect my feelings at all. I even doubted I was remembering it wrong.
So... since reviews are the main ingredient for readers to click on the first chap or not... Here is what I promise you: if you are mildly interested and got to read this before starting, read the first 3 chapters and see if you can stop yourself. The writing quality alone will make it so that you don't waste your time. - Lord TurtleRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I think for me I'm not too sold on the style with the constant shifts in povs, though I could end up growing to it as it goes on, but as of right now there's not enough for me to judge. As for the rest of this, I think this is shaping up to be a really fun story with quite a lot of wiggle room for the author to explore and utilize. From here I would recommend this as I did enjoy my time with what we have despite remaining on the fence about the style.
So why did I give it 4.5 stars despite my concerns? Well it's because I didn't dislike the style, I'm just not too sold on it yet, and potentially the score could still change. However, I did finish the latest chapter (at the time of the review) wanting more so I would say that it succeeded in what it did. - VyktorRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Really interesting story, it's sometime à little hard to follow because the POV jump all over the chapter and we have the same screen wrote by the different POV, and it take me a moment to understand each time.
Story seem interesting, and I will continue to read it.
Thanks! - kellanvedRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5This story is entertaining. It has a bunch of issues, grammar primarily, sometimes wild pacing, characterization that could be clearer, but at the end of it all I still had a smile on my face.
Looking forward for more! There was a notable increase in quality as the story progressed, and I have no doubt that as the writer gains more experience, these issues will be seen less and less. I appreciated the fact that some effort was spent to characterize even secondary and tertiary characters even if it sometimes fell a bit flat, things are looking up in this story I think! - CelticFearyRoyal Road★★ 2.0this novel has so much potential, its original and not at all cliche, but the way this author writes confuses me to no end, its extremely hard to read, the characters actions don't line up, it takes forever for things to happen and when they do you can barely comprehend it, there seems to be no goal for the main character and every sentence is a stutter, and last but not least, its boring...
