Ive really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait for more chapters to come out. The overall story is great and the individual characters add interesting developments. The mc is written really well and maintains the same attitude throwout which is nice because it cause confusion for the other character rather then making them belive a person took over the character.

When I began reading this novel, I had assumption that this will be just another typical translated novel full of grammatical mistakes. To my surprise, grammar is very good. Though, quality of writing is bad, given it is translation of Chinese novel. You can expect everything the Chinese novels are known for.

Overall its a decent story. I stopped around 250 because the mc's personality goes from arrogant to those who deserve it, to an arrogant AH towards everyone.
Hard to enjoy an AH who's an AH for the sake of being an AH.
It would be cool if that was his MO the entire time, but it wasnt and there was a change at some point to make him genuinely unlikeable.

It was going well but then suddenly at chapter 38 the quality drops down to chinese mtl writing style xianxia where the mc goes around face slapping. "do you dare to kill me." Type stuff.
Story was fine, just not creative, till then. Ok 3.5 star story similar to a couple other korean novels.

mostly disappointing story. it feels like the story doesn't know what it wants to be. All the elements clash with each other and don't make sense.

The academy arc keeps on coming and going. Why? Just move on already! There is little coherence in the flow of the story. It is like those wuxia stories where the mc is a farmer, then he is cultivator, then he is a cyberpunk warlord and then he is a hunter gatherer who is weaker than an earthworm and then he is strong again.
