- Lucien of the Old BloodRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I won't be very harsh, the grammar is subpar, a few chapters struggle between whether they want to show or tell us what is happening, and overall an average novel with an overused plot, which is simply revenge. The MC has his happiness and love removed, along with his eyes and will be in an eternally 13 year old body. The premise could have been good with a better author, no offense, however it hasn't been pulled off very well in this case. I can however see where the author wants to take this story and believe with enough editing the chapters can become better.
Overall I wouldn't call this a popcorn novel, a bit less than that. It isn't trash or unreadable, but that isn't saying much. I look forward to the authors chapters and to see their improvement in grammar and writing, it needs polishing but as long as the author keeps at it this will turn out to be a nice read.
