- O. TourresRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Hello, Thank you for the story.
What I like:
The story is interesting enough to make the reader want to discover the next chapter. The characters are interesting too. The chapters are long enough. The cover art is great. The description makes me want to read.
The dialogues are fine. The characters talk as they would in real life, so there is an immersion to it.
What I believe could be improved:
There are writing problems that make it hard to read: several redundant "that" could be cut; word repetitions, for example, "they were walking" and "we get there" (chap1); the tense switches for no reason it seems; etc. Although it is better in the 3rd chapter, maybe because there is a lot of dialogue and you do dialogue properly.
I don't know if you use Grammarly, but if you don't, I advise installing the plugin and checking what advice it gives, you'll improve your writing a lot this way. You may want to use Grammarly on Google Docs, it gives much valuable advice.
About the style, I can't really tell because it is hidden behind the writing that I find imperfect, so I'm giving the best rating by default.
