Description

Main Blurb

Paul never wanted to be a hero.

He was raised human, educated, methodical, and pragmatic—until death claimed him and undeath gave him something far more useful:time. As a vampire lord and necromancer, Paul awakens in the Deepwood, a savage frontier ruled by goblins, hobgoblins, beasts, and constant war. Where others see chaos, he sees inefficiency.

Undead don’t tire. Slaves don’t rebel if properly managed. Fear is cheaper than mercy, and loyalty can be engineered.

Rather than burn the world in a night of blood, Paul builds something far more dangerous:a functioning empire.

The Undead Kingis aslow-burn military and bureaucratic fantasyfollowing a villain protagonist who conquers not through madness, but through planning—supply lines, breeding programs, undead logistics, winter preparation, magical research, and political domination. As Paul forges the Valgul—an army and society of undead, goblins, beast-kin, and enslaved peoples—he prepares for a future where the living and the dead march together beneath his rule.

This is not a tale of redemption.

It is the rise of a calculated, immortal tyrant—and the monstrous civilization he builds to conquer the world.

A great read.  Original story and interesting main character with a unique outlook and goals.  I mean really he's a bad guy right?  Recommend if your looking for something different and engaging.  I'm curious as to where the author will take this story, will all be part of his undead army or will someone rise up?
