Description

Ryan was a straight shooter, he has his goals, and his path was laid out in front of him. His dream of being a football star was shattered one day as a weird light flashed at the periphery of his vision. Upon focusing his attention on the blue square light an innocent-looking notification appeared in front of his eyes--

Planted ZX-458 has reached optimal Energy Levels

Integration Initiated

You have been selected along with a group of 10,000,000 people to the Initial Initiation

Get Ready to teleport to the Training ground in 0 h 45 m 31 s

What followed was a story of tragedy before at the end of his life the power in his mysterious right eye emerged and he was reincarnated to the day the Integration happened.

The Uncrowned King is the story of Ryan and his path to one day conquer the Universe. I have been reading LitRPG's for the past 3 years and after finishing almost all the material there is on the Internet, so I decided it was now time to create something.

Leaves the world open and has a chance to learn from some unoften heard from characters from Norse mythology ( the Ravens). Can't wait to see what the leveling system is like and if you can train stats physically. And right now also wondering if there are tiered tutorials with better rewards or if it's a free for all

As a voracious reader myself, I know the feeling that it's time for me to make my own story. And from the author's introduction of the system (and its status screen) the involvement of Norse-Greek mythologies, I could very much say that the author knows what he's aiming for.
The story followed Ryan, a tower-climbing, apocalypse's returnee with Litrpg flavor. It started strong by placing the readers in mid-combat conflict, before eventually as the plot demand, our MC boy returned before the apocalypse happening —giving us a quite nice tidbit of expositions that doesn't feel forced.
Each chapter after that also peppered with good excitement that has its own resolve which while it, of course, tempting to click next chapter immediately, readers could take a break between chapter no problem.
The main character also believable. Here we have a strong, decisive MC who already went through hell and beyond. He didn't make a stupid mistake and as a returnee, knows what he's going to do to gain the restart advantage. Although his nonchalant attitude toward a Godly Blessing indicates that it either common enough or the whole apocalypse already jaded him until nothing could surprise him anymore. All in all, his character is very fleshed.
For the supporting characters, few of them who popped up, are quite exciting in their own right. The tribe girl, Remi, is particularly spot on. I applaud the author's good sense using her own character voice that makes the reader could relate to her as if she really coming from an unknown tribe.
Now the grammar. The grammar here has no glaring problem except for the typos. A lot of typos. Like every five sentences, there will be one typo. I recommend the author to run their draft through grammar-checker software like Grammarly at least.
And finally, the less complimentary part of the novel. The style. Now, this is a personal taste and heavily subjective. Take everything in this section with a grain of salt
