Eve Forward is making a strong comeback with her newest writing in The Trashscarf Tales.  Each chapter brings in a delighful new twist that gets readers to smile, laugh, and come back for more.  Trashscarf, himself a unique individual, uses that namesake garment of his to rope in a cast of characters that make every scene vibrant and a joy to read.  The Fractal Coast, where the story takes place, is well described and populated with interesting locations and ecology that leaves you to wonder what more might be in later sections.  Throughout, the writing is top notch and brings the setting and characters to life, easily letting readers imagine the scenes playing out.
I highly recommend The Trashscarf Tales for anyone wanting something fun to read that is consistent in it's fantasy world and isn't afraid to make playful jabs at genre tropes.

The writing is rich in descriptive language, bringing the setting to life. The sun sinking into the sea, the crinkled contours of the Fractal Coast, and the weathered sign marking the road all contribute to a sense of wonder and mystery. Trashscarf, with his unique appearance and lighthearted personality, adds a touch of whimsy to the narrative.
One thing that is clear in these chapters is the author's freedom and the way he has fun telling the story!
Overall, this excerpt sets the stage for an enchanting and adventurous tale. While the story is still in its early stages, it shows promise and invites readers to give it a chance. Fans of fantasy and imaginative worlds will likely find enjoyment in the unfolding narrative of Trashscarf and his journey along the fractal paths of the Fractal Coast.
