- RznRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0A bit of narrative deception in a way opens the piece, which is a good way to catch the reader's attention though the MC's attraction and such does undercut the way to build tension and intrigue by being comedic in a way. Then the tone shift and the reveal at the end of the chapter does a fair job establishing the hook. Overall it is a good opening.
