We tell folktales to learn, entertain, and warn people against specific actions. Without them, beings like the Soul Weaver wouldn't exist -- which is why he gets so pissed whenever that interloper, Nexus, only requests the same bland fables over and over.

The Soul Weaver has recalled several tales from his youth and wants to see what Nexus will do with them -- if he bothers listening.
