Description
Technomancy the path of combining the magical arts with crafted items to give them a semblance of life and then control of the construct. Requiring a high degree of knowledge about multiple crafting paths.
All Alex Winters wanted was a beer and to take the hottie he met back to his room for a little horizontal tango. After that simple plan went horribly wrong, he finds himself transported to a new world where he struggles to survive. Having no time to become a warrior or a spell slinging mage he stumbled upon a new opportunity, the chance to create something to fight for him. A chance to adapt and survive in the hostile new world he found himself in.
Chapters will release every Wednesday, and every other Monday.

- Arthur_DentRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I hate when I'm reading a story and the usually smart lead character does something stupid simply to move the plot along. It's almost a trope on RR at this point. The lead in this story? Doesn't do that. Does he make mistakes? Yep. Like people do, but NOT out of character and not needlessly dumb. Generally he's smart with common sense, and acts accordingly but he's human enough to screw up too. And miracle of miracles..... he seems to learn from those mistakes.
This story hits me right in my wheelhouse of a lead who makes good decisions, learns magic, and for the triple whammy: crafts things. It's an enjoyable read. Grammar is good enough that I didn't notice any errors. My hope is the author keeps writing, cause you've got something good here! - Kalle4421Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Well, I do like me a smart mc, or at least not dumb, and this fits me perfectly, an interesting magic system, and FINALLY a story in which the mc actually thinks about what he is doing, and chooses reasonable options. I hate the story’s where everything is right, interesting opening, sophisticated systems and then the mc does something really stupid, like risk his life for enemies or just act dumb, and not in like the „why can’t you see the future way“ but just generally obviously wrong decisions, and this mc does none of that, also author, please continue writing
- OwlishRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Sorry, can't take anymore. The English is fine, although run-on sentences seem to be a thing. Chapter 2 cover almost 5 years of time, and yet almost nothing happens. The MC talks about studying and exercising, but we never see it.
I get no feeling for paths not taken. Traps? Other magical paths? Heck, getting a pair of binoculars and looking out the window?
