  Wonderful, wonderful! It's not common we see xenofiction on here. The author did a splendid job when it came to describing the protagonist's primal senses, and the feeling of power they felt moving around with their augmented limbs. Style is appropriate, unburdened with purple prose, yet blossoming with motion and rhythm.
  My main complaint is that I had trouble imagining the environment. There are grasslands, a dog, some objects - but the setting is extremely vague to me. This makes it very difficult to know what exactly the protagonist is moving around in, and stifles my imagination. I also have zero idea how this creature came to be, but that can be excused as a stylistic choice. Still, my curiosity wasn't sated enough. I wanted more context! Tags indicate soft sci-fi, and the description indicates that the protagonist had not always had this form. What events came to this? What sacrifices were made? Why was it done? So many questions left to be answered.
  This appears to be a short story? There surely is potential for more. I respect the experiment, but wish it to go on further. This story resonates with something unique - something that has potential to thrive here.
  A great start on RR for this author. I wish to see more from them in the future.
