- 123urfeeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0due to title was expecting a teenage angst isekai and am glad it's not. It feels what the hero of blood and iron was suppposed which is isekai into a game. The stats is interesting as it's supposed from a game though it's translate well to semi reality. I also gives enough info without being info dump while giving room for semi depth. The pacing feels right as it's war for survival without bogged down with meaning dialouge that supposedly builds character that a lot of stories do.It feels story knows what it wants to do and does it well enough which is to complete with good ending . I also don't feel great about the identity thing as it feels like gateway to unnecessry drama though till now it feels well incorporated with the story till now. All in all it's a great story and fits well with my taste and looking forward to where this goes. Thanks for the story author
- A morteRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have read this entire series and honestly its pretty good, the author gives us great world building and the MC is also very interesting but cant say much without spoilers.
All characters feel real and their actions make sense which is something i enjoyed very much.
If you're looking for an story where the MC is a smart fella with some interesting traits, this is the story for you. - sirsmoakRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is wonderful, The knowledge samuel has isnt just how to get cheat level items and even the writing of "the other one" is amazing the solutions to some of the problems are extremely unique but the guns seem to have been forgotten, but there are many foreshadowing things that seem perfect for some crazy things happening later in the story the grammar is good the characters are absolutely amazing the story is full of twists and turns and is awe inspiring there are no "oops im so strong from cheating I one hit killed this guy" moments because all the strength samuel has he has worked for and almost died to acquire and all of the hidden plots hidden behind closed doors makes the whole story a giant mystery to try and think of before the answer is revealed I Dont know how many more words i need I Dont know how many more words i need I Dont know how many more words i need I Dont know how many more words i need
The way samuel tries to help even though "other" takes over a lot is amazing and we can see many moral battles within samuel. I Dont know how many more words i need I Dont know how many more words i need - Goat ManRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5It's good and fun overall it's just that especially in the second volume the MC gets sidelined by everyone else. I get that to an extent that we need to know what is going on elsewhere but there are several 4+ part chapters of some other POV and it's very annoying as the MC gets sidelined by the other characters.
There are 3 main POV's the MC's the MC's psychotic other side (yes I'm counting it as separate) and the 'hero' of the game they're in. The hero especially gets a lot of extra chapters that just feel like they drag on rather than enhance the story. However, that might be my impatience and dislike for multiple main character stories. Hence why I still rated the book fairly highly.
While I have other smaller issues with this novel it is still a decent read. If not for there being multiple POVs issue I would probably have rated it higher as the characters have some depth and the story is decent enough as not everything goes the MC's way all the time. - LoDRoyal Road★★★ 3.0The story is pretty good however the style and pacing is off which leads to some akward phrasing.
If you're intrigued by the premis and are looking to kill a few hours, i recommend reading this to make up your own mind.
However, this novel doesn't bring any major inovations to the table despite being a bit tedious to read (due to the akward phrasings and pace) so if you're undecided this may not be for you.
