The Struggle to be Good

We follow James, a young man discontented with the world. He sets out on a journey to defy expectations and to prove that one doesn't need to use force to live a good life.

The focus will be on creating a realistic fantasy world and to confront the unjust natures of people and the world. James will be an intelligent but naive young man, finding his way in a world he knows little of. The magic and game like elements will be very basic and be primarily used to highlight and reinforce the basic underlying principles of wrongs that exist in the world already.

This will neither be a story focusing on a character using everything to achieve great power, nor a story where the protagonist is perfectly good and gets what he wants because of it.

That said, heavy topics will be addressed at various points, and I will do my best to note them at the beginning of any chapter.
