There is nothing especially grand about the main character. He only wanted to live happily with his family, but this kind of life was taken away from him twice. So, with a heart set on cultivating and growing as strong as possible as fast as possible he will grow to unimaginable heights take revenge and then continue growing stronger while protecting those dear to him.

The beginning chapters were a bit of a mess to go through while the author sought his footing. But the patient reader will eventually be rewarded with a mc with strongly cherished values of family, and a willingness to defend loved ones no matter the cost. This story is distinguished in this sense against more self centered MC's who seek power for its seek or turn murder hobo for no reason. But at the same time, mc will kill without mercy to protect his family. Older readers would likely better relate to this story

This is like reading to summary of another story. There's no emotions only step 1 then step 2......
The base story is not bad but everything moves so fast that it's hard to care about anything. Hopefully it changes later on in the story but without a good foundation at the start is hard to justify reading more.

Show don’t tell. The first chapter is the author telling us a character does this or that, loves his family etc. Its a pretty poor introduction- so much so I lack motivation to continue to read. It claims to be edited, but I doubt any serious beta reader actually worked on it.
