- ALJohnstonRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The general concept is here and it’s very good, i personally love the trope of a demon/darkness attaching itself to someone, it’s why Bungo Stray Dogs and Black Clover are 2 of my favorite anime to watch. I very much enjoy the world you’re trying to build here, it’s fantasy yet grounded in a familiar world and we don’t have enough set in just plain old earth. In my humble opinion you are moving very very fast here, in the first 2 chapters there is easily 4-5 chapters worth of content if the pacing was slower. I get the excitement of wanting to get these ideas out, we have all been there when we first come up with a cool concept but these chapters feel more like an early storyboard word vomit for a concept than two fully fledged out chapters. Please if you have to just take a step back, really fledge out these great concepts you have and then come back to it. I am not trying to be mean here, I do really enjoy what you have going and you should definitely Keep at it, just please slow down some and give these concepts you have their proper place to shine.
