The Steel in One's Soul

Description
Trezemek is a fantasy world of my own creation. Creighton is my MC, a machinist who died of asphyxiation who gets a second life on Trezemek. The first 20(ish) chapters focus on communication problems that lots of other isekais glance over, 20 to 30 are setup for an adventure plot, specifically by integrating modern technology into the setting. Creighton is an "overpowered" MC, but he starts off ignorant of that fact. The characters he interacts with also take some time to realize he's not just weird, with bad communication/assumptions driving most early conflict. If you are here looking for the original setting primer I wrote, I still have it, it's just not been reworked yet and I got sensitive after that one comment (yes you) pointed it out. Also I have the content warning on because I don't really know what kind of direction the story might go in, but as of chapter 30 I think only graphic violence would apply. There is no release schedule, and so far it's only getting worse. I'm crying about it too.

- jlarsonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The initial chapters have two POVs: The MCs and others.
The POV switches are clearly marked and everything moves forward smoothly. So points for grammar, exposition, and composition.
The concepts and world-building are both consistent and well-developed. A fun read.
And YAY, there seems to be no need for spurious Ominous Foreshadowing ™ to ruin the reader's immersion.
