- 1Royal Road★★★ 2.5This story was near incoherant with the amount of grammer issues, capitalization issues, and overuse of dialogue. There was practically zero exposition throughout the entire prologue. The relevant plot details can be entirely summed up by saying that a guy has a dream about being in a war, then gets drafted into an army. The reader is capable of adding two and two together, and even if they aren't, shoving irrelevant things into the reader's face disrupts the flow of the story. If you want to add more to that, details are the way to go, not dialogue. Overall, this wasn't the most captivating of prologues.
